IT Project Manager Consultant

To enhance project management practices within the Information Technology Services Department, the full-time IT Project Manager Consultant will manage critical projects, improve project management maturity, and implement AI-enabled delivery methods remotely. Key responsibilities Directly manage an assigned portfolio of critical IT projects, ensuring alignment with PAHO priorities and stakeholder engagement Establish and enhance project management practices, governance, and AI-enabled delivery methods across the ITS portfolio Prepare and facilitate project reviews, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and ensure formal project closure with lessons learned Required qualifications University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Minimum of five years managing IT projects in complex environments, including experience with multiple concurrent projects and external vendors Demonstrated experience with various project delivery methods (predictive, agile, hybrid) and establishing project management practices Proven ability to apply AI tooling in project delivery and experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform Fluency in written and spoken English and working knowledge of Spanish; additional languages are a plus
