IT Project ManagerOur client is seeking multiple IT Project Managers for long term contracts.
Responsibilities include:Performs project management activities supporting multiple simultaneous projects following established Project Management processes and practicesCollaborates with project sponsor and operating departments to identify project objectives, milestones, resource requirements and deliverablesLeads project team by assembling appropriate technical and business personnel, assigning roles and responsibilities, builds and facilitates team cohesionDevelops project artifacts, to include but not limited to; requirements documentation, scope statements, project charters, project plans, cost estimates, technical specifications, schedules, status reports, project closure documents, lessons learned documentationTracks, monitors, analyzes and reports projects' costs, schedule and scope statusDrives timely project activities, as well as efficient and cost-effective use of time, materials and resourcesIdentifies, tracks, assesses, communicates and resolves critical issues and potential risks to meet project objectives/deliverablesPrepares formal and informal project communicationsEnsures projects are executed in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, ordinances and codes and with company policies, procedures and standards.Requirements include:8+ years of overall IT Project Management experienceActive PMP CertificationMeeting presentation and facilitation skillsProfessional written and verbal communicationAttention to detailMicrosoft ProjectMicrosoft Office SuiteMaximo Application Suite (preferred)Project Management practices based on PMISupply Chain Experience (preferred)Maximo Software (preferred)Kavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
