IT Project ManagerAustin, TX6 months Contract with possibility to extensionThe Candidate will lead and perform highly advanced analytical and coordination work in an agile environment relating to the implementation of new Client’s solutions, including but not limited to Contact Centers, Digital transformation efforts, and other enterprise solutions the division needs.The Candidate will perform these tasks:Participate and/or lead in project management, coordination, planning, and scheduling with Client and Vendor staff in an Agile environmentFacilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, retrospective, and managerial stakeholder status meetings.Work with product owners, and internal customers, to maintain requirements backlog and conduct requirements elaborationsWork with scrum masters, developers, and solution architects, to maintain a conduit of elaboration for functional requirements to technical requirementsMentor product owners, internal customers, project managers, developers and others in agile principles and leading industry practices.Contribute to development and sharing of agile standard methodologiesAssist in the evaluation of technical solutions and make recommendations based on sound reasoning.Prepare charts, diagrams, and tables that depict the present (as is) and proposed systems (to be)Prepare project plan, schedule, and roadmapKnowledge of project management methodologies that includes Agile development and other SDLC methodologies.Conflict resolution through conversation by focusing on the values of openness, honesty and respect.Proven strong verbal and written communicationLead through change, advocate for and influence an agile transformation.Manage multiple projects of medium to large scale through all sprints/iterations and phases of the projectStrong problem-solving and multi-task skills with a readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.Experience in business analysis and strategic planning.Must perform other related work as assignedCandidate Skills and Qualifications:Years - Required/Preferred - Experience7 - Required - Experience in project chartering, planning, scheduling and road mapping7 - Required - Experience in project management including Agile and other SDLC methodologies plus knowledge of software development methodologies, testing, design, and implementations5 - Required - Extensive knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology with knowledge and experience applying Agile practices and principles including Scrum and/or Kanban including demonstrated ability to inspect and adapt Agile practices to various situations.5 - Required - Experience developing functional specifications and documenting functional designs for large projects.5 - Required - Experience working with a Scrum team on large projects including: performing Scrum Ceremonies (Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives), backlog refinement, and creating burndown charts and reporting to management5 - Required - Experience with highly complex application security requirements3 - Required - Proficient with the Microsoft 365 products, including TEAMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint2 - Required - Proficient with Jira and Confluence1 - Required - One or any combination of Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst or PMP Certification1 - Preferred - Experience with Texas procurement and contract guidelines (Texas Project Delivery Framework)1 - Preferred
