Overview
IT Project Manager 1 – Location: Atlanta, GA (10 Peach Tree Place). Start Date: ASAP. Contract: 12 Months.
Responsibilities
- Support the Enterprise Decision Support and Data Governance (EDGE) organization in Southern Company Gas.
- Work with stakeholders – both business and IT.
- Gather functional and non-functional requirements; define target touch points and delivery dates for technical project requests made by business partners across the Gas business.
- Manage progress of projects from ideation to production for multiple projects running simultaneously.
- Own the project management platforms used within the organization to manage the portfolio of projects.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting the EDGE organization in Southern Company Gas; ability to work with stakeholders – both business and IT.
- Experience gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to define target touchpoints and delivery dates for technical project requests from business partners across the Gas business.
- Experience managing multiple projects from ideation to production.
- Experience owning and using project management platforms to manage a project portfolio.
