Responsibilities
* The IT Project and Deployment Coordinator role within the ITG (Information Technology Group) is responsible for coordinating assigned IT projects, deployments and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.
* Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, facilitates project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
* Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
* Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Principles and practices of project coordination / management.
* Requirements gathering.
* Financial management.
* Procurement rules and regulations.
* Software products to aid in your management of projects.
* Experience with managing technical resources and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
* Strong technical background in IT infrastructure with an emphasis on technology development / deployment.
* Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent technical writing, reviewing and editing skills.
* Working knowledge of and ability to apply industry-standard project management best practices.
* Working knowledge of and ability to apply IT Service Management best practices.
Skills
* Strong customer service and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
* Excellent self-organization and time management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations.
