IT Program ManagerWe have a long term contract IT Program Manager job to work on a Data Warehouse upgrade. Must work on site in Orlando.Program Manager responsibilities include communication with Senior Leadership, monitoring and controlling of multiple interrelated and dependent projects, management of multiple vendor relationships, direction of multiple resources and roles, and aligning the program to stakeholder and enterprise goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with project and program management along with experience with software architecture and development.Must have: ALM, Cognos, Visio, and Scrum experience.
Project Management Certification.Responsibilities:Responsible for managing one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projectsDevelops the program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plansEnsures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the businessCommunicates with IT leadership, senior leadership, and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction, and changesResponsible for delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting the strategic and business requirement.Responsible for tracking key program milestones and recommending adjustments to Project ManagersPartners with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterpriseSuccessfully build and manage relationships with program members, senior leadership, and external partners to the districtMust possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniquesResponsible for managing all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of the programDirects and mentors a large team of project managers and/or other project management staffCoordinates resource availability, alignment, and allocation across all projects of the programResponsible for managing multiple vendors acting as prime for the solutionQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experienceProject Management certification is required.
