The IT Program Manager leads stakeholder partnerships, manages the technology portfolio, and delivers solutions supporting various business functions including Finance, Accounting, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Human Resources, and Legal. The role involves proactively identifying opportunities for technology to contribute to business success.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborating to develop technology roadmaps.
- Planning and leading initiatives.
- Leading a team performing systems management, process analysis, data stewardship, and escalation support.
This position functions as the systems owner for related platforms and technologies such as ERP, supply chain/procurement, lodging, and F&B systems. It also involves managing relationships with vendors.
Essential Functions:
- Redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while embodying our values.
- Performing responsibilities in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, aligning business objectives with technology solutions, and collaborating on strategy, delivery, and support.
- Developing and communicating roadmaps for process and system initiatives.
- Leading projects from scope definition to implementation, including stakeholder communication and managing project financials.
- Coordinating with project teams and vendors for implementations, upgrades, testing, change management, and adoption support.
- Championing change management, training, and maximizing solution effectiveness.
- Leading and mentoring a team of analysts, engineers, and administrators.
- Leading solution analysis and selection initiatives.
- Managing systems lifecycle in partnership with architecture, functional, and operations teams.
- Overseeing daily systems operations and support through ticketing systems and processes.
- Reviewing system issues, identifying business impacts, and developing solutions.
- Collaborating with Support Operations for effective support and escalation paths.
- Managing vendor relationships, including selection, contracting, negotiations, and performance management.
- Guiding data architecture and ensuring smooth data flow and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills with guests, team members, and management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant business or technology experience.
- Experience leading technology teams.
- Deep understanding of software solutions like ERP, procurement, HCM/HRIS, and integrations.
- Knowledge of relevant business functions and processes.
- Understanding of key regulations such as PCI, NIGC, etc., ensuring compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O, ADP, or Agilysys hospitality systems.
- Industry experience in gaming, entertainment, or hospitality.
- Project management certifications like PMI-PMP or Agile are a plus.
