IT Program ManagerGenesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract opportunity.This role serves as the single point of accountability for end-to-end project delivery across people, process, and technology dimensions. The IT Program Manager will own full project governance, including financial management and budget oversight, while driving clear communication to senior business partners.Responsibilities:Serve as the single point of accountability for end-to-end project delivery across people, process, and technology dimensions, managing initiatives based on size and complexityOwn full project governance, including forecasting, financial management, and budget oversight, ensuring performance within a +/-1% variance across multiple service provider teamsLead project workgroup meetings and drive clear, consistent status communications to a broad set of stakeholders, including senior business partnersEnsure all deliverables are executed on time and meet defined quality standardsMaintain system of record accuracy and enforce adherence to enterprise change and delivery standardsDrive focus on critical requirements (Minimum Viable Product) and manage scope rigorously, escalating change control items or deferrals as neededProactively identify, escalate, and drive resolution of key risks to ensure successful and timely deliveryApply disciplined upfront planning to enable predictable execution and minimize unexpected challengesEnsure all project objectives are achieved with appropriate measurement, traceability, and outcome validationDemonstrate strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Requirements:Proven track record as an experienced Project Manager, with direct accountability for delivering complex solutions end-to-endDemonstrated experience leading large, complex initiatives across people, process, and technology, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomesStrong financial acumen, including management of project budgets, with ownership of monthly forecasting and financial reportingProven ability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively with senior Technology and Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders, tailoring messaging and level of detail to the audienceDeep familiarity with core project management tools, governance frameworks, and enterprise technology standards, including enterprise change management requirementsAccountable for ensuring adherence to governance processes and maintaining accurate project and financial system of record updatesSelf-starter with the ability to operate independently, take full ownership of deliverables, and drive initiatives through to completion in a highly matrixed organizationDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and service providers to achieve aligned outcomesDesired skills:Proven track record as a high-performing Project Manager within a similar large-scale financial services environmentExperience leading projects across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologiesDemonstrated experience delivering initiatives within a global technology organizationProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalentPay range: $54.54 - $62.54 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
