IT Procurement SpecialistThis is an IT Procurement Specialist responsible for end-to-end ownership of large, complex IT Software as a Service (SaaS) and IT Services (example-System Integration services) contracts. Operates as a strategic business partner to drive meaningful savings through sophisticated negotiations, not transactional buying.Core Responsibilities:Lead complex IT Services negotiations from strategy development through contract execution, PO execution and close.Develop and execute procurement and negotiation plans that optimize cost, scope, and commercial terms.Perform first-pass contract reviews and redlining, escalating to legal and SMEs (like cybersecurity, insurance etc.) as needed.Own the full contract lifecycle, coordinating legal, cyber/security, category advisors, and vendor/account management.Manage long, multi-month negotiations while keeping multiple workstreams moving and stakeholders aligned.Required Experience:Experience in procurement and/or IT contracting.Proven experience negotiating large, complex IT services contracts with material financial impact.Direct experience working with IT services suppliers, including understanding scope, deliverables, and risks.Strong commercial acumen, including pricing structures, rate increases, milestones, payment terms, and scope clarity.Detail-oriented contract owner capable of identifying gaps or ambiguities that create downstream risk.Preferred / Valuable Background:Experience managing very large agreements with extensive documentation over 6–9+ month negotiation cycles.Demonstrated ability to build rapport across IT, business units, suppliers, legal, cyber, and vendor management.Track record of remaining composed and strategic during prolonged, high-stakes negotiation.
