We are on a mission to empower humanity to lead a healthier life.The IT Operations Specialist will own day-to-day IT Access Control, serve as an escalation point for complex issues, and help mature IT Identity and Access Management practices across the organization. This role blends hands-on technical execution, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in a healthcare environment. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology experiences for both employees and clinicians, directly enabling high-quality patient care.Essential FunctionsSystems Ownership & AdministrationManage Entra ID tenants, users, groups, licenses, and directory integrations.Access Management & GovernanceImplement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), manage identity lifecycles (joiners, movers, leavers), and perform access reviews/audits.Security & AuthenticationConfigure and maintain Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Conditional Access policies, MFA, and SAML/OIDC SSO integrations for SaaS applications.Messaging Applications (Teams, Slack, Zoom)Administer workspace settings, user access, channels, and integrationsSupport secure and compliant access and application delivery practices across the organizationBusiness ApplicationsConfigure and support Access Management for applications procured by business to optimize, automate, and improve efficiency for onboarding and offboardingOngoing management of administrative access controls to support application security, prevent data exfiltration, and maintain automated security and application patchingEmployee Onboarding & OffboardingOwn and continuously improve end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processesProvision hardware, accounts, system access, and security controls for new hiresPartner with People Ops, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure onboarding meets healthcare and privacy requirementsEnsure timely deprovisioning and asset recovery during offboardingSecurity, Compliance & Best PracticesSupport IT security initiatives aligned with HITRUST, SOC2, HIPAA and healthcare data protection standardsComplete UAR access reviews, and documentation of IT processes and controlsPartner with Security and Compliance teams to remediate risks and implement controlsIT Operations & End-User SupportServe as an escalation point for complex IT support issues across corporate and clinical teamsEnsure high availability, performance, and reliability of core IT systems supporting telehealth operationsProactively identify operational gaps and implement improvements to reduce incidents and support frictionSupport a distributed, remote workforce with a focus on clinician and care team workflowsProcess Improvement & DocumentationCreate and maintain clear IT documentation, runbooks, and standard operating proceduresHelp mature IT Access management practices (least privilege, RBAC, just-in-time access)Contribute to tooling evaluations and implementations as the organization scalesWho You AreRequired:3+ years of experience in IT Operations, Security, or Access ControlStrong experience administering Entra ID or similar cloud IAM solutionExperience supporting remote-first or distributed teamsStrong troubleshooting skills across SaaS applications, endpoints, and identity systemsExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetExperience operating in regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, or similar)Nice-to-Haves:Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), MS-102 (Administrator Expert), or similar.Knowledge of HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, or healthcare IT compliance standardsExperience with device management, MAM, and endpoint security toolsITIL or other ITSM framework exposureWork authorization/security clearance requirements:Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.Physical Requirements/Work Environment:Remote work environment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.EEO Statement:Vori Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
