IT Operations EngineerOur direct client based in NYC (midtown) is seeking a full-time IT Operations Engineer. This is an urgent client need with immediate interviews for qualified candidates.Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000 per yearBenefits: 401(k), Health insuranceType: Hybrid - will require 2pm to 10pm weekly team rotation every 5th week.Work Loc: NYC (On-site, midtown)Candidate will be an experienced Operations Engineer and will join client's growing IT Operations team.
Responsibilities for daily administration of the server/network infrastructure and related systems, using cloud provisioning tools and automating tasks using a scheduler. Candidate will be highly detail-oriented and comfortable working independently as well as within a team. New hire will be learning about and working extensively with Linux, scripting, and AWS.This position will need to support standard office hours and a rotational 2pm - 10pm EST shift for one week every 5 weeks or so. There is also on-call pager duty associated with the respective shifts.Responsibilities:Monitor systems and applications including Linux, Windows, and AWS servicesDeploy applications across a multitude of servers and operating systems hosted on AWSUse Bash and Python scripting to automate processesBuild/monitor/troubleshoot/fix Prod/Test/Dev environments to ensure smooth and efficient operationsWork with CI/CD tools, tasks schedulers, and Amazon Web ServicesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required3 - 5 years of Linux experience3 - 5 years of Linux scripting experienceExperience with IT infrastructure, subnetting, routing, firewall policies, and best practicesAbility to writing SQL queries in order to troubleshoot data issuesFamiliarity with windows administrationComfortable working independently in a high-pressure environmentAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, and customersAny certifications are a plusExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentDesired:AWS or other Cloud services experience/certificationExperience with TeamCity or TerraformTroubleshoot file transfer using ftp, ftps, sftp, ssh, Offers:Collaborative team culture within Agile environmentPTO: Vacation, Personal, Sick time and HolidaysCommuter benefits (pre-tax) and 401k plan offeredMedical and Dental insurance coverageMoneyline Group LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
