You will own IT operations that support our rapidly growing team—from device management and network security to vendor relationships and compliance. This is a critical role at a company building physical-world data infrastructure, where reliable, secure IT systems directly enable our mission.Responsibilities:Manage and scale IT operations, including endpoint management, network infrastructure, identity and access management, and help desk supportOwn security and compliance programs including SOC 2, device management policies, and incident response planningLead IT vendor selection, procurement, and contract management across hardware, software, and servicesPartner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to align IT systems and tooling with business needsDevelop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards across the organizationBuild, mentor, and grow a small IT team as the company scalesOversee IT budgeting, asset tracking, and lifecycle managementAbout YouRequired:You have 5+ years of IT management or IT operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleYou have deep experience with macOS and Windows endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, or similar MDM platformsYou have strong knowledge of cloud identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, or Azure ADYou have hands-on experience owning security and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similarYou have experience managing IT vendors, procurement processes, and contract negotiationsYou are a clear and confident communicator who can translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholdersYou are highly organized, self-directed, and thrive in a fast-paced, scaling startup environmentPreferred:You have experience in a hardware + SaaS or IoT company environmentYou have experience managing network infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise Wi-FiYou have familiarity with IT scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShellYou have experience implementing or managing a Zero Trust security modelWhat You'll DoIn your first 30 days, you will:Learn RADAR's mission, technology stack, and core valuesComplete onboarding and security compliance trainingConduct a comprehensive audit of existing IT infrastructure, tooling, vendor contracts, and security postureIn your first 60 days, you will:Identify and prioritize gaps in IT security, compliance, and operational efficiencyDevelop a 6-12 month roadmap for scaling IT systems to support company growthBuild strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Engineering, Finance, and OperationsTake full ownership of critical IT vendor relationships and ongoing procurement cyclesIn your first 90 days, you will:Begin executing on your IT roadmap with clear, measurable milestonesStreamline IT procurement and vendor management processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsEstablish clear IT policies, runbooks, and escalation procedures across the organizationIdentify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive IT tasks and improve team productivityAt RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $205,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
