Software Engineer For Cell Dive
This position is 100% onsite at 15405 SE 37th Street Suite 100 Bellevue WA 98006 Looking for a minimum of 3 years experience. Top three must have skills: extensive experience with.NET,.NET Core, C#, Visual Studio, extensive experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEF. The Software Engineer for Cell DIVE will work with a small development team responsible for creating, expanding, and supporting the existing codebase using WPF/WCF.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop.NET WPF/WCF software used in the image acquisition and post-processing steps of biological fluorescent imaging workflows.
- Support existing code fixing defects looking for opportunities to refactor and optimize.
- Support tech debt discussions and implementation.
- Work with image acquisition systems including capture, manipulation, and optimization of image data.
- Help the team to improve the technical quality of their work through regular technical design and code reviews.
- Participate in an Agile environment contributing to the entire SDLC process.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Minimum of 3 years of Software Development experience architecting and maintaining thin/thick clients and API's
- Strong technical contributor with a proven track record of using your expertise to help the team
- Extensive experience with.NET,.NET Core, C#, Visual Studio
- Extensive experience with WCF, WPF, MVVM, MEF
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bellevue, WA
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
- Experience working with version control systems (SVN, git, github, SourceTree, etc)
- Experience working with Microsoft VisualStudio development environment
- Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks
- Demonstrates the ability to creatively find solutions
