Its guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. (The Enterprise Architect is a senior technology leader responsible for defining, governing, and realizing the organization’s enterprise architecture across Business, Data, Application, and Technology/Platform domains. The role brings to bear artificial intelligence (AI) to improve architectural analysis, accelerate decision‑making, and improve execution efficiency—while ensuring responsible and compliant AI adoption.
Data Architecture
Establish enterprise data principles, domain models, integration patterns, governance frameworks, and data quality standards.
Architect data platforms supporting analytics, AI/machine learning, and real‑time decisioning (e.g., Define data ownership, stewardship, lineage, privacy, and security practices with data leaders and compliance teams.
Ensure data designs enable responsible AI (model governance, bias monitoring, explainability, and auditability).

Application Architecture
Define target‑state application architecture emphasizing modularity/replaceability, interoperability, scalability, and lifecycle sustainability.
Promote API‑first, AI-native, cloud‑native, event‑driven, and reusable component patterns; Create blueprints for platforms/solutions, infrastructure, integration layers, and cloud environments (hybrid/multi‑cloud as applicable).
Lead platform and vendor evaluations aligned to principles, requirements, total cost of ownership (TCO), and business value.

Establish and maintain enterprise architecture policies, standards, reference architectures, patterns, models, roadmaps, and guardrails.
