IT Director – Manufacturing – Danvers, MA

Daley And Associates is seeking an IT Director with a client who is a large manufacturer. This role is a high‑impact leadership position offering the opportunity to shape technology strategy, drive digital transformation, and influence operations across a multi‑site, international business. As IT Director, you will take ownership of both the strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership of IT across global operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a critical role in aligning technology with business goals, supporting growth initiatives, and modernizing systems in a complex manufacturing environment. This is a 5‑day per week on‑site position role that will pay a base salary range of $150‑200k.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and align IT strategy with broader corporate and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Develop and execute a forward‑looking IT roadmap to support growth and operational efficiency
  • Oversee ERP and CRM implementations, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, reducing manual processes and improving scalability
  • Lead integration of acquired businesses into IT systems and processes
  • Manage global IT operations, including multi‑site infrastructure and business systems
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing IT team
  • Ensure compliance with governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver data and reporting capabilities to support informed business decisions
  • Manage vendors, budgets, and resource planning across the IT function
  • Travel from site to site about 20% of the time.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering, or product‑based environments
  • Proven track record leading IT in complex, multi‑site operations
  • Experience delivering full lifecycle ERP and CRM implementations
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments and compliance frameworks
  • Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in a lean environment
  • Experience supporting M&A activity, including due diligence and system integration
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align IT with business outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Experience

  • Background in publicly traded companies
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience leading global IT teams and operations
