We're seeking someone who has worked in or alongside field services or operational environments and knows how systems like ERP, CRM, or job costing platforms impact day-to-day execution.What You'll Do:1) Bridge Construction Operations & TechnologyPartner with teams across construction, field operations, finance, and ITTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements, system workflows, and technical specifications that support scalable business solutions.Act as the primary liaison between field stakeholders and technical teamsFacilitate discussions across business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to build consensus, balance competing priorities, and drive successful project outcomes.2) Analyze & Improve Operational WorkflowsAnalyze and document current (As-Is) business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future (To-Be) workflows for job costing, estimating, scheduling, dispatch, and project tracking.Identify inefficiencies and recommend ERP-driven or system-based solutionsDrive process improvement, automation, and scalability3) Lead Requirements & DocumentationGather and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and field engagement.Develop process maps, user stories, use cases, and system documentationEnsure alignment between business needs and technical deliveryAnalyze and validate business requirements by distinguishing true business needs from user requests, ensuring proposed solutions align with operational objectives and long-term business goals.Perform root cause analysis and gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies, evaluate solution alternatives, and recommend practical, scalable improvements.4) Support Systems (ERP / CRM / Field Service Platforms)Support implementation and optimization of ERP, CRM, HRIS, or field service management systemsPartner with vendors and internal teams on integrations and enhancementsLead or coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defining acceptance criteria, developing test plans, supporting pilot deployments, validating business readiness, and assisting with production rollouts.5) Drive Adoption & TrainingLead change management and user adoption effortsDevelop training materials and support end users in operational environmentsContinuously improve usability and system effectiveness6) Leverage Data & ReportingAnalyze, normalize, and manipulate operational data using Excel, SQL, and reporting tools to identify trends, validate business requirements, and support informed decision-making.Support reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Translate data into actionable insights for leadership7) Support System IntegrationsDesign, support, and troubleshoot integrations between business systems using technologies such as SQL, APIs, Power Automate, SFTP, cloud storage, Single Sign-On (SSO), and data import/export processes.Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure reliable data exchange, system interoperability, and end-to-end business process automation.Why This Role is Different:This isn't a sit-back-and-gather-requirements kind of role.
