IT Business AnalystLocations: Charlotte, NC (Not more than 45 miles) Hybrid/Onsite: HybridPosition Summary: This role is responsible for reading and interpreting privacy laws, rules and regulations to accomplish business goals. The individual will assess policies, procedures and operations to ensure the organization meets privacy requirements. They will work with stakeholders to determine requirements derived from privacy legislation.
Individuals in this role will collaborate between a variety of groups to manage workflow from privacy requirements to technical deliverables. Individuals in this role possess a working knowledge of the business/technical domain and the main applications within that domain.Responsibilities:Determine project scope documentation and identify/refine requirementsTrack and report on project status/deliverables and produce project artifactsUnderstand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.Provide subject matter expertise within the business / technical domain to support scope and requirement decisionsEnsure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.Required Skills:5 years of data analyst experienceProven ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements for developersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasksHighly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlinesGreat analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work with the stakeholders to understand the concerns, risks and issuesActing as a liaison between the business and its information (IT) departmentDemonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns.Desired Skills:Experience and/or knowledge of Data Privacy LawsExperience and /or Knowledge of Privacy by Design conceptsExperience with JIRA ticket creationProject Management Experience.
