Job TitleActively supports the business partner throughout the entire IT Demand Management process as 'One Face to the Customer'. Researches and initiate technical changes to improve/optimize Mercedes-Benz Vans' business processes. Provides IT support on an advanced technical basis using programming languages. Think, try, and thrive with us in collaborative work environments that spark game-changing concepts.ResponsibilitiesProvides technical IT support during incidents which are often varied and non-routineConducts analysis of client's business and functional requirements and binds them with business processesAssesses scope and impact of client business needs and assists with formal requirement documentationDevelops changes and solutions using programming languagesLeads IT changes and releasesCreates and manages timelines and implementation plansStudies the impact and benefits of technologyAcquires, improves and applies a broad toolkit of best practices and methodologiesSelects and applies analysis methods (actual analysis). Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.Supports in determining the target state by applying creative, agile methods and proceduresOrganizes and may lead workshops to derive the target solution on the basis of the target stateCoordination of the involved areas (IT and Business Partner) during the development, testing and rollout of the target solutionSupports and maintains internal IT processes (ex: Incident Management) and associated documentation. May improve existing approaches.Supports thorough problem management as the coordinator after incidents including in-depth Root Cause Analysis, Countermeasures and Solution planningMay be required to provide after-hours / on-call duty supportParticipate in the plant expansion and other projects.Participate in regular scheduled team meetingsPerforms other duties as assigned.Responsible for Application Operations for all business systems in their area.QualificationsBachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant working experience.

Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related filed.Knowledge & SkillsExperience in IT Demand Management/Business ConsultingProject Management (leading projects, major changes/releases or work packages)Basic Technical skills (ex: programming/software engineering/database administration)Excellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBasic understanding of IT security and data securityExcellent Knowledge of incident and problem managementProficient in agile methodology and principlesWe are all in for change.
