IT Business Analyst (Hybrid)We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT team within the Gilbane Development Company (GDCo). The IT Business Analyst will report to the IT Director within GDCo and will be responsible for bridging the gap between our IT department and business objectives, ensuring that our technology solutions align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and information technology, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirementsAnalyze and translate business needs into technical specificationsConduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for new projects and enhancementsWork with IT and development teams to design and implement technology solutionsEnsure that solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budgetDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocationIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automationDevelop and implement strategies to enhance business processes and workflowsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholdersFacilitate communication between business units and IT teamsProvide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and progressDevelop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of IT solutionsIdentify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely mannerEnsure that solutions comply with industry standards and best practicesProvide training and support to end-users on new systems and processesDevelop user manuals and training materialsAssist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issuesQualificationsBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environmentStrong understanding of business processes and technology solutionsProficiency in business analysis tools and methodologiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment independently and as part of a teamExperience with project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plusKnowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT and business analysisExperience with AI platforms and toolsFamiliarity with data analysis and reporting toolsKnowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologiesCertification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantageReal Estate industry specific experience and knowledge of the specific application stack (MRI, Dealpath, Nexus, etc.)Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
