IT Business Analyst

Data AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is critical to the Employee Experience Technology organization's ability to reduce cybersecurity risk. The selected individual will serve as a Data Analyst focused on accelerating vulnerability analysis, prioritization, and remediation activities across software and infrastructure portfolios.

The analyst will transform vulnerability and risk data into actionable insights that drive remediation planning and execution for technology, engineering, and infrastructure teams.Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret data to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levelsTransform vulnerability and risk data into actionable insights that drive remediation planning and executionIdentify trends, prioritize risk exposure, and ensure teams have the information needed to make informed decisions that reduce security vulnerabilitiesUncover systemic issues, identify cross-functional impacts, and highlight opportunities to streamline remediation efforts through deep analysis of vulnerability dataPartner with engineering, enterprise security, and infrastructure teams to drive consistent remediation strategies and improve risk management practicesRequirements:Ability to translate data analysis into actionable recommendations and remediation plansProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and data visualization capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordBasic understanding of information technology infrastructure, including operating systems, servers, applications, and networking conceptsBasic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), programming concepts, and software testing practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to identify trends, patterns, and root causes within large datasetsExperience working with data from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy and integrityEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across matrixed teamsBasic understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or technology risk conceptsExperience creating reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-makingOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
