Owning the systems and access management for the team, the full-time IT and Security Specialist will set security standards, identify and remediate risks, and collaborate closely with engineering and research teams in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities Set and maintain security protocols while ensuring they are practical and not overly burdensome for the team Identify and remediate security risks through hands-on technical work and ensure proper implementation of security measures by engineers and researchers Manage access across various platforms, making decisions on user permissions and ensuring compliance with security standards Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in security, DevSecOps, IT operations, or a related field Experience owning security at a medium-sized organization Strong familiarity with Google Workspace administration and AWS IAM Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams Comfort with making independent access decisions without committee approval
