Solu is seeking an IT Analyst - Healthcare (Remote) to support business and technical teams by gathering requirements, performing system testing, and analyzing production issues across healthcare applications and integrations. This role will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure system enhancements, issue resolution, and process improvements are delivered effectively.
This position may be performed remotely, except in the following states: Colorado, New York, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Delaware. Preference will be given to candidates located in Arizona.
Responsibilities
* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and change requests.
* Develop and execute test scripts, perform system testing, and conduct post-production validation.
* Research and analyze system issues related to electronic transactions, clinical systems, claims adjudication, and customer service applications.
* Track issues through resolution and provide first- and second-level support for internal and external customers.
* Configure GuidingCare and related healthcare applications and support system integrations and enhancements.
* Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, external customers, and IT teams to communicate system and process changes.
* Develop moderate to complex business requirements for large projects with limited management direction.
* Provide subject matter expertise on electronic transactions and corporate systems to support workload prioritization and issue research.
* Facilitate process improvements and create operational procedures driven by evolving technologies and capabilities.
* Lead small to medium-sized projects and mentor junior analysts.
* Interpret system design specifications to ensure alignment with business needs.
* Develop and execute data queries using existing reporting tools and understand underlying data structures.
* Support multiple business segments and resolve conflicts to achieve project and organizational goals.
Qualifications
* 1-2+ years of hands-on GuidingCare experience (REQUIRED).
* 2+ years of experience in healthcare or insurance with a focus on business processes, system analytics, or integrations.
* 5 years' business analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Experience writing business requirements and performing system testing.
* Experience communicating and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).
* Basic experience with query tools, file handling, and data translation concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with SmartComm or healthcare document generation tools.
* Experience with EDI, healthcare integrations, and file transfer protocols.
* 5+ years of experience in healthcare or insurance system analysis.
* 1+ year of project management experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
* Business Analyst, Six Sigma, or Software Testing certifications.
