IT Account ManagerThe IT Account Manager position ensures that clients of DOCUmation have a solid technology plan which is aligned with their business strategy. As such, it requires the ability to speak with business owners and managers, understand business strategy and planning and consult in the best interest of the customer. It is important that all work be performed correctly, within acceptable time limits and when promised to customers.
In this position, the incumbent works on his or her own with only general supervision. The incumbent typically works directly with client staff and management and at the client's site and remotely. Working hours other than the standard weekday hours will be required from time to time.Responsibilities include following operating procedures, completing business reviews, helping customers with technology decisions, reviewing project plans, providing communications, ensuring customer satisfaction, improving technical skills, building relationships, maintaining documentation, assisting sales personnel, performing proof of concepts, educating clients, and other duties as assigned.Experience and related skills include providing timely service, prioritizing tasks, working independently and as a team member, and experience implementing and supporting technologies.Education and certification requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, experience with computers and networks, customer service, written and verbal communication, interpersonal communication, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, teamwork, attention to detail, analytical thinking, time management, and working under pressure.Physical requirements include frequent standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching, visual acuity to read documents, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.Special requirements include having dependable transportation and a clean driving record.
