IS Manager - Non‑Clinical Applications

Job Summary
Provides leadership and operational oversight for the organization's non‑clinical application portfolio, including HRIS, ERP/Finance, payroll, M365, and related systems. Ensures system performance, data integrity, security, and alignment with business needs while leading a team responsible for support, configuration, and enhancements.
Responsibilities
Application Ownership & Strategy
- Serve as technical owner for HRIS, ERP/Finance, payroll, M365, and other non‑clinical applications.
- Define and maintain application roadmaps aligned with business priorities and compliance requirements.
- Lead system evaluations, selections, implementations, and upgrades.
System Operations & Support
- Ensure availability, performance, security, and reliability of supported systems.
- Oversee configurations, releases, upgrades, patches, and integrations.
- Establish and maintain support models, service levels, and escalation processes.
- Drive incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and issue prevention.
Data Integrity, Security & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee and financial data across systems.
- Enforce access controls, audit requirements, and segregation of duties.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance in partnership with security and compliance teams.
Integrations & Reporting
- Oversee system integrations and data exchanges across platforms.
- Deliver reporting and analytics solutions with HR and Finance stakeholders.
- Maintain data standards, documentation, and reporting logic.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop analysts and system administrators.
- Set priorities, performance expectations, and development goals.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary technical liaison for vendors and implementation partners.
- Manage vendor performance, contracts, licensing, and support engagements.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and recommendations.
Project & Change Management
- Lead application projects, including implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
- Ensure adherence to change management, testing, and release processes.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience supporting HRIS and/or Financial/ERP enterprise applications.
- 3 years in a technical lead or people‑management role.
- Proven experience managing projects with strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Proven experience managing enterprise applications, integrations, and system operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Technical expertise in:
- Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, or similar).
- Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of system integrations (APIs, middleware, file‑based data exchanges).
- Understanding of data governance, security controls, and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged use of a computer and standard office equipment.
- Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 pounds).
- The ability to communicate effectively and visually review information is necessary.
