IP & Technology Transactions Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)Location: New York, NYA leading global law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with approximately 4–6 years of experience to join its IP & Technology Transactions practice in New York, with a focus on life sciences matters.This is an opportunity to join a premier transactional IP group advising leading life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies on complex, high-value intellectual property and commercial transactions.Position OverviewThe IP & Technology Transactions group advises clients on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of sophisticated IP-driven commercial transactions. The practice is particularly active in the life sciences sector, handling matters involving licensing, collaboration agreements, R&D partnerships, and commercialization arrangements.Attorneys work closely with cross-functional teams across offices and practice groups on complex, often global transactions involving cutting-edge technologies and intellectual property assets.ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate intellectual property and technology transaction agreementsAdvise on licensing, collaboration, and strategic alliance structuresSupport life sciences transactions, including R&D collaborations and commercialization dealsStructure IP ownership, risk allocation, and commercialization frameworksAdvise on technology development, transfer, and licensing arrangementsCollaborate across offices and practice groups on complex transactionsConduct legal research and support deal execution from inception to closingManage components of transactions with increasing responsibility and autonomyQualifications4–6 years of experience in IP and technology transactions at a law firmSignificant experience in the life sciences sector strongly preferredStrong background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreementsExcellent analytical, drafting, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in team-based and cross-office environmentsStrong academic credentials and prior large law firm experience preferredActive member of the New York Bar or eligible to waive inCompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus.
