IP & Technology Transactions Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)Location: Palo Alto, CAA leading global law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with approximately 4–6 years of experience to join its IP & Technology Transactions practice in Palo Alto.This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, cross-office transactional IP group advising on complex technology-driven deals, with a strong emphasis on M&A-related IP and commercial transactions.Position OverviewThe IP & Technology Transactions group advises clients on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of intellectual property and technology agreements in connection with major corporate transactions and standalone strategic deals. The practice frequently intersects with M&A and other corporate transactions and requires close coordination across offices and practice groups.Attorneys in this group work on sophisticated matters involving technology development, licensing, commercialization, and IP integration in corporate deals.ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate intellectual property and technology transaction agreementsSupport IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactionsAdvise on licensing, collaboration, and strategic alliance arrangementsStructure and document technology development and commercialization dealsAssist with IP due diligence and integration in M&A transactionsWork collaboratively across offices and practice groups on complex mattersConduct legal research and support transaction executionManage deal components with increasing responsibility and autonomyQualifications4–6 years of experience in IP and technology transactions at a law firmStrong experience with M&A-related IP and technology matters preferredExperience working in cross-disciplinary, cross-office teamsStrong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skillsExcellent academic credentials and prior large law firm experience preferredActive member of the California Bar preferredCompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus.
