A law firm seeks an IP & Technology Litigation Associate in San Francisco. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, focusing on technology, Internet law, crypto, privacy, intellectual property, and complex commercial litigation.
Duties
- Handle litigation involving artificial intelligence technology, including copyright and data collection issues.
- Manage Internet law class actions related to consumer protection laws.
- Address intellectual property matters, including trade secret, copyright, trademark, and patent issues.
- Engage in complex commercial litigation involving cryptocurrency and technology companies.
- Oversee privacy and data security matters, including incident response and data breach class actions.
- Litigate speech-related technology cases, including those involving Section 230 and defamation.
Requirements
- Two to six years of litigation experience.
- Experience in a mid to large law firm preferred.
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, and managing discovery.
- Interest in technology, Internet law, defamation, crypto, privacy, and intellectual property.
- In-house litigation management experience for a technology company is a plus.
- Good standing with the CA Bar.
Education
- Solid academic performance in law school.
Certifications
- Membership in the California Bar.
