Lead iOS Developer

As a Lead iOS Developer , you will drive agile scrum teams forward and play a key role in building customer-facing mobile applications in a fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver high-quality apps, including meal planning and eCommerce solutions. While this role is primarily hands‑on development, it also involves strategy, mentoring, and training. Over time, you may oversee a team of iOS developers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience developing iOS apps (expertise in Swift , with working knowledge of Objective‑C and Xcode ).
- Prior experience as an iOS Developer Lead is a plus.
- Experience in project planning for large or highly complex projects.
- Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, from UI/UX to backend systems and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile tools, processes, and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lead and participate in designing and implementing large-scale or architecturally significant applications.
- Experience establishing development best practices and mobile application standards.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with adaptability and creative thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design, coding, and unit testing of applications using SDLC best practices.
- Collaborate with Product teams to plan new features, gather requirements, and propose solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and determine appropriate technologies.
- Research and implement new interface development techniques.
- Support the entire application lifecycle: concept, design, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Champion company standards and continuously improve software delivery processes.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
