Overview

Boston Scientific is seeking a Part-time Clinical Representative to join the Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) team. The role focuses on clinical support for Cryoablation products, working within a defined geographic territory and supporting the local sales team. The company develops cancer, embolization, and vascular treatments and invests in new product pipelines and research.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, basic troubleshooting, product usage, and customer training.
  • Attend cases in customer accounts and advise physicians on the safe and effective use of Cryoablation products.
  • Provide supplemental training and in-services to support product launches and high-touch specialty products.
  • Assist in executing a proactive regional plan involving clinical, sales, and service support to improve market share and service quality.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing creative and feasible solutions or by collaborating with related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
  • Manage consignment inventory tracking, semiannual audits, expired product handling, and returns.
  • Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation related to procedural device operation.
  • Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into work processes and maintaining compliance with quality requirements.
  • This is a salaried, part-time position with a target of less than 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare technical certification with relevant work experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, travel to multiple accounts within a geography, and carry medical device equipment in the vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of clinical work experience.
  • Experience in Computed Tomography (CT), Radiology, or Interventional Radiology.
  • Foundational knowledge of medical imaging, especially CT.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be coached and work collaboratively with teammates.

Compensation and Additional Details

  • Requisition ID: (internal reference not needed in external postings).
  • Estimated annual base range: $45,000 to $60,000, plus variable compensation under the Sales Incentive Plan and benefits as offered by Boston Scientific.
  • Actual compensation will reflect experience, education, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
