Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (required)
• Financial business development experience (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
• Strong client relationship-building experience

License/Certification

• A valid and active Series 7 license (required)
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment)
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained within 120 days of employment)
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Build a foundation for a future role as a Financial Consultant.
• Collaborate and receive mentorship to improve service delivery.
• Learn and grow within Schwab’s Branch Network.
• Make proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients.
• Observe and learn from experienced Financial Consultants.
• Perform needs-based analysis to uncover client opportunities.
• Recommend appropriate financial products and solutions.
