The Leonis investment banking team covers a variety of industries including Vertical Software, FinTech/Payments, Healthcare IT, Security IT, Media, Marketing Technology, Insurtech, and Tech-Enabled Services.As a Vice President, the role requires an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience with financial statements and financial modeling and strong communication skills.

It will require overseeing and mentoring Associates and Analysts.The new hire will have significant responsibility in supporting senior bankers with business development, relationship maintenance and transaction execution. Key tasks include:Develop new business in coordination with senior team.Oversee processing and participation in engagements of among mergers and acquisitions and private placements (growth capital raises).Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work for Associates and Analysts.Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications:4-6 years of investment banking or relevant experience or an MBA plus 3-4 years of investment banking or relative experienceStrong experience conducting investment banking transactions in the technology sectorExcellent analytical and modeling skillsHigh energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skillsAbility to perform under pressure and tight deadlinesCommitment to working hardExtraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologiesStrong client management skills
