Technology Vice President (VP)DC Advisory is currently seeking an experienced Technology Vice President (VP) with relevant background working in Technology. The VP will be an integral part of DC Advisory's fast-growing team across all group-related matters from client engagements to team development and career building.VPs are expected to play a critical role on transaction teams and make a positive impact for our clients. We partner with our employees to advance each individual's unique career goals while providing consistent transparent feedback fostering personal and professional growth.The VP will be responsible for leading junior bankers on transaction execution teams while acting as a daily trainer and mentor to staff.
This includes deal process management, resource management, review and provide oversight on materials and work product development, and will also serve as the client liaison for day-to-day needs.The VP will also be a key contributor to business development efforts that include idea generation and development, identifying key industry themes, drafting industry thought pieces, outbound prospect calling efforts and other related marketing activities.Summary of Core Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day transaction execution across all mandate typesLead a range of deal assignments including pitch and marketing materials, banker due diligence, client marketing materials development, industry research, financial modeling, and lead various in person client meetingsLiaise with clients and prospective clients through both engaged transactions and in business development marketing situationsParticipate in client meetings and drafting sessions which may include management presentations and facilitated sessions with finance professionals, CEOs, Board Members, Financial Sponsors, and other leadership positions.Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersProvide oversight, mentorship and training to junior investment bankers on a daily basisOversee the creation of various financial models and analyses from the ground up with minimal directionServe as role model to junior bankers by identifying training and learning opportunities as well as monitoring work qualityParticipate in the junior banker talent management programs – hiring, selection and trainingQualifications:Demonstrates proficiency in managing the investment banking transaction processes and using appropriate judgment at all timesPrior experience strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required / MBA preferredMinimum of 6 years of prior investment banking or equivalent M&A experienceSIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 requiredCompensation and Benefits:Base Salary: $250,000 + annual discretionary bonusMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCommuter BenefitsDisability Insurance401(K)Pet InsuranceEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
