The Investment Banking Senior Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Associate also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of investment banking business activities.
- Leverage past experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilities.
- Contribute to building the franchise.
- Manage and mentor analysts by providing guidance, feedback, and credit exposure information.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (Bachelor or Master’s in Business Administration).
- Experience evaluating corporate transactions and structures.
- Experience creating financial analyses.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Experience assisting with client development.
- Ability to work with teams and track business development.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $175,000 - $225,000. In addition to salary, benefits include medical, dental & vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, disability insurance, wellness programs, paid time off, and paid holidays. Incentive and retention awards may also be offered.
