What you'll actually be doing:

• Building relationships with CEOs, CFOs, boards, investors, and sponsors across the Metals & Mining sector.
• Originating new M&A, financing, and strategic advisory opportunities.
• Leading transaction execution from pitch materials and valuation work through diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Advising clients on acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises, refinancing strategies, and strategic alternatives.
• Developing sector coverage plans and identifying actionable opportunities for clients.
• Partnering with research, capital markets, and investment banking teams to deliver solutions.
• Mentoring junior bankers and managing deal teams.
• Attending industry conferences, client meetings, and investor events to grow relationships and generate business.
• Monitoring commodity, capital markets, and industry trends to uncover new opportunities.
• Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients and mandates.
