Investment Banking Associate / Vice President – Power, Infrastructure & Renewables

An elite boutique investment bank is seeking to hire an Associate and Vice President to join its highly successful Power, Infrastructure & Renewables team in New York.
This market-leading team advises on some of the most prominent transactions across the Americas and benefits from an exceptional network of long-standing institutional relationships, providing access to a consistent pipeline of high-profile M&A and strategic advisory mandates. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in both the origination and execution of complex, high-impact transactions within a fast-growing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the origination and development of new advisory mandates, with a particular focus on M&A transactions across the Power, Infrastructure & Renewables sector.
- Take a leading role in the execution of live transactions, managing workstreams from inception through to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal process.
- Prepare and review financial models, valuation analyses, marketing materials, and client presentations.
- Mentor, develop, and oversee junior team members, providing guidance and support throughout transaction execution.
- Collaborate closely with senior bankers to deliver exceptional client service and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Associate: Minimum of 3 years' investment banking or M&A experience without an MBA, or 1+ year of relevant experience following completion of an MBA.
- Experience gained at a leading investment bank or top-tier financial institution.
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated transaction experience within the Power, Infrastructure & Renewables sector.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
