Guided by principles of fiduciary responsibility, integrity, and service to Texans, PSF plays an enduring role in strengthening public education and investing in Texas's future.As an experienced Investment Analyst within the Private and Public Credit team at Texas PSF Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in researching markets and analyzing fund investment opportunities in addition to providing support for modeling co-investments. This role involves applying advanced financial analysis, market research, and investment modeling to real-world decisions, while collaborating closely with team members to deliver strategic insights and achieve portfolio objectives.You'll conduct macro-level research, assist with due diligence, and contribute to investment recommendations and monitoring activities.

We're seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with two years of experience in investment banking, finance, consulting, or investments, who is ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, credit-focused investment team.Investment Due Diligence & Portfolio SupportSupport due diligence processes by compiling research, maintaining deal flow tracking, and drafting internal materialsMonitor and assess existing portfolio investments including performance and risk/exposuresEvaluate new credit investments, including manager and co-investments, alongside more senior investment personnelAssist senior investment personnel with portfolio management and program administrationMarket & Investment ResearchScan public and private markets for emerging trends, risks, and opportunitiesConduct macro and microeconomic research to support investment decisionsFinancial Analysis & ModelingAssist with financial analysis of investment opportunities, including manager analysis and co-investment modelingCreate portfolio analysis reports that assess liquidity, risk, and underlying credit fundamentalsOperations & Administrative SupportProvide general support to the team on a day-to-day basisMaintain thorough records for both public and private credit strategiesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldUp to 2 years in investment banking, finance, consulting or investingStrong financial modeling and excel skillsStrong understanding of credit metrics and capital structuresProficiency with Bloomberg or PitchBook or Power BI or TableauProgress toward CFA, CAIA, or equivalent finance certificationsPowerPoint and presentation skillsWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and market dynamicsAwareness of economic indicators and market trendsTravel/Schedule RequirementsDomestic up to 10%Hybrid office/telework scheduleAbility to work/travel outside of normal business hoursKey BenefitsTexas PSF's status as a special purpose governmental corporation allows for a unique opportunity to provide state employee benefits along with other company perks.
