Supports operational accountability by identifying, escalating, and tracking inventory variances and user-driven discrepancies. Responsible for all aspects of the inventory team, including department productivity, labor hours, SLA's, metrics, answering associate question, making sure all rules are being followed set by Manager and/or Director daily.
Responsibilities include maintaining inventory governance across multiple warehouse management systems, managing date lot FEFO requirements in non-system supported environments, overseeing serial number programs, supporting master pack SKU conversions and multiple SKUs per item, and developing vendor specific cycle count programs to ensure inventory visibility and compliance across owned and client managed inventory.Provide leadership, direction, and development for teamResponsible for ensuring that department productivity goals are metMeasure and report the team performance through use of our Productivity Report total for daily units completedManage labor hours and eliminate department OT by adjusting department head count and hours of operations according to volume fluctuationsEnsure positive interdepartmental communication, understanding, and cooperation. Coordinate with all impacting departments to ensure optimal productivityPerform detailed research and reconciliation of inventory variances across system and physical inventorySupport training for all new employees as well as providing on-going training for existing staff members along with SMEAnalyze discrepancies and identify root causes, including user-specific errors and process gapsEscalate and report user-driven variances to operations leadership for accountability and corrective actionParticipate in second counts and supervisory counts when initial counts identify discrepanciesValidate and audit inventory transactions to ensure system integritySupport cycle count program effectiveness through analysis and feedbackUtilize WMS and reporting tools to monitor inventory trends and anomaliesDevelop and maintain reports to track variances, adjustments, and recurring issuesPartner with operations to implement corrective actions and improve inventory processesEnsure adherence to inventory control procedures and audit requirementsProvide guidance and support to inventory clerks and warehouse personnel and assist in enforcing process adherence.Train, develop, and audit inventory personnel and partner with operations leadership.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
