The Inventory Control Manager oversees the accuracy, movement, and integrity of inventory across all locations, including internal warehouses, Amazon FBA, and third-party partners. This role ensures timely receiving, transfers, and reporting, while supporting fulfillment and subscription operations. Reporting to Management, the manager enforces process discipline, resolves discrepancies, and provides real-time visibility into inventory using the ERP system. This is a hands-on role with potential for support from warehouse staff during non-peak hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records across internal warehouses, Amazon FBA, and third-party manufacturers using the ERP system.
- Oversee inbound receiving, inter-location transfers, and reconciliation of discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support biannual physical inventories to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor subscription inventory pools to prevent stockouts and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Generate inventory reports to support purchasing, forecasting, and operational decisions.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for support on transfers, receiving, and Amazon-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse operations, preferably in e-commerce or multi-channel environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve accuracy.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite); experience implementing or working without a WMS is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for inventory reporting and forecasting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to operate independently while coordinating with warehouse staff.
- Comfortable in a hands-on role with limited direct reports, leveraging warehouse associates as needed
