Counts inventory and checks Central Storeroom for expired goods. Delivers stock from Storeroom to Nursing Units as required.
Performs all other related duties as directed by Materials Operations Manager or Director of Materials Management.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required. Must possess the ability to lift 30 pounds. Must have basic computer skills and mathematical skills to count accurately. Must be able to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
Hospital experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills, commitment to quality control when performing counts and expired goods.Must have a valid and current state issued driver's license. Must maintain and provide proof of automobile insurance (at his/her own expense) in amounts which meet at least the minimum liability coverage limits required by the state of their residence. Clearance of driving record check; driving records shall not contain any of the following: a suspended or revoked driver's license, 3 or more moving violations in the past 36 months, 2 or more accidents in the past 36 months, 1 or more instances of driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) within the past 24 months, at fault in a fatal accident within the past 5 years, leaving the scene of an accident within the past 36 months, and/or reckless driving within the past 12 months.Physical DemandsMust possess good physical health.
