Inventory Control AdminThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for engaging in receiving, inspection, non-inventory items & inventory control activities including handling, disposition, cycle counting, and transactions of inbound and raw material, purchased component inventory, and outsourced materials.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain ERP system to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient handling and disposition of incoming material.Complete/close work orders in accordance with the daily/weekly production planProcess E1 transactions, such as inventory adjustments, receiving BOLs, etc.Enter all Conover site chip and bark tickets purchase orders and receiptsManage daily inventory flow to include warehousing transactions, shipping, receiving and placement of all materials and equipment moving through the facility.Issue and stage materials for the consumption of the production team per the associated schedules and requirements.Organizes daily workloads and engages in product movement as it relates to the receiving, inspection, storage, and disbursement of materials.Research inventory discrepancies and issues, reconcile and explain inventory adjustments where necessary.Promote methods that minimize loss due to damage and mishandling.Conducts frequent partial physical inventory audits to verify accuracy of computer records; conducts a complete physical inventory count annually.Maintains and ensures accuracy of inventory in MRP system.Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.Make recommendations based on audit results for improvements.Additional DutiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adapt quickly to change.Excellent communication skills & proactive mindset.Competent and knowledgeable in computer systems.Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
