Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments? We are seeking Inventory Associates for a temporary inventory relocation project. This role offers a variety of responsibilities and is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, solving problems, and contributing to process improvements.
Requirements for the Inventory Associate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with computer systems
- Ability to follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders regularly
- Ability to walk distances up to 1,000 feet on a regular basis
Important: This temporary Inventory Associate position is located at a government-owned facility. Due to site security requirements, candidates must be able to obtain facility access, possess a valid driver's license, and have reliable personal transportation with current registration and insurance. Applicants must also be willing to submit to a criminal background check covering the previous 10 years as required for site access. A REAL ID-compliant driver's license or two acceptable forms of identification will be required to complete the facility access process.
Inventory Associate Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and database transactions
- Assist with inventory management and inventory relocation activities
- Count, verify, and track inventory accurately
- Label shelves and stock materials in designated locations
- Operate motorized vehicles for on-site material transportation
- Deliver materials between work areas as needed
- Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with moderate supervision
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Excel and Word experience
- Data entry experience
- Experience working with databases
- Computerized inventory system experience
- Material handling or transportation experience
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or factory experience
Work Environment
This Inventory Associate position will involve working in office, factory, and warehouse settings. Office and factory areas are climate-controlled. Warehouse areas are not climate-controlled, so appropriate clothing will be required based on seasonal temperatures and assigned work areas. Transportation between work locations on-site will be provided.
