nThe Role
nAs an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will support diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures by preparing patients, maintaining sterile technique, operating imaging equipment, and assisting physicians throughout complex cases.
nYour day-to-day work includes:
nSupporting a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, from vascular and nonvascular interventions to emergent and scheduled cases
nPreparing procedure rooms, imaging equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for high acuity and time sensitive cases
nPositioning patients and operating fluoroscopic and related imaging systems to produce high-quality images that guide real-time clinical decision making
nMaintaining strict adherence to radiation safety, infection prevention, and sterile technique standards
nAnticipating physician and team needs during procedures to promote efficiency, safety, and optimal outcomes
nCommunicating clearly with patients and families to explain procedures, reduce anxiety, and support a positive care experience
nCollaborating closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, anesthesia teams, trainees, and other allied health professionals
nParticipating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting the academic mission through interaction with students and residents
nAn average day may include scheduled procedural cases, emergent add-ons, trauma-related interventions, and coordination across multiple clinical teams. The pace is dynamic, the work is hands-on, and the impact is immediate.

nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
nEducation: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography required; Associate's Degree in Radiography preferred. Must be eligible for ARRT (VI) certification.
nExperience: experience required; 2 years Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.
nLicensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required. ARRT (VI) certification required within one year of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
nPHYSICAL DEMANDS
nJob requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to, fumes, cold, heat, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
nThe pay range for this role is $41.00 - $56.50 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
