Job Description
Follows clearly defined procedures to support cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab. Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe, precise treatment under cardiologist supervision. Builds confidence and cooperation from patients, families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy, safety, and optimal care. May mentor and train students.

Required Certifications
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT-Radiology
- If ARRT (R): California radiology technologist license required
- BLS (Basic Life Support, AHA)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- 4x10-hour, Days, Monday-Friday
- No standing weekend shift requirement
- Rotating on-call for nights and weekends
