Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech) to join our Radiology team in Round Rock, Texas. This full-time, weekday position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus , consistent Monday–Friday day shifts with call rotation , and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment known for excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Do

    n

    Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Prepare patients for procedures, position accurately, and ensure optimal imaging quality and safety throughout each exam.

  • n

    Utilize AIDET communication techniques to provide compassionate, professional care and build patient confidence.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, radiation safety, and infection control protocols.

  • n
  • n

    Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and technologists to support smooth procedural flow and outstanding patient outcomes.

    Participate in the call rotation to provide after-hours coverage for urgent or emergent procedures.

    Ensure all equipment is maintained and functional; promptly report any performance issues.

    Accurately document patient information and imaging records per departmental and regulatory standards.

Requirements

    Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience: Interventional Radiology experience preferred

    n
  • n
  • n

    Certification/Licensure:

    n
  • n
  • n

    Certified by the ARRT (R) in Radiography

    n
  • n
  • n

    Must hold a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)

    n
  • n
  • n

    BLS Certification (required within 30 days of hire)

    n
  • n
  • n

    Within 2 years of hire, must obtain one of the following:

    ARRT-VI – Interventional Radiography, or

    n
  • n
  • n

    ARRT-CV – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, or

    n
  • n
  • n

    ARRT-CI – Cardiac Interventional Radiography
