What We’re Looking For:

  ARRT (R) required

  n

• n

  1 year experience in Diagnostic Radiology

  n
n
• n

  Prior Cath Lab or Interventional Procedure experience preferred

  n
n
• n

  Strong communication skills and attention to detail

  n
n

What You'll Do

The Interventional Radiology Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We're Looking For

  Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.

  Experience:

  n

• n

  Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, required.

• n

  Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology, preferred.

  n

• n

  Licensure/Certification:

  n
n
• n

  Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R), required.

  n
n
• n

  IV Credentialed, preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Applicable state licensure, required.

  n
n
• n

  Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Thorough knowledge of interventional procedure and activity.
