Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech / RCIS)
Join a top-tier Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center team delivering high-impact patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are seeking skilled Interventional Radiology Technologists or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS) to perform diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures, scrubbing and circulating complex stroke, trauma, and vascular cases.
Flexible schedule options available:
- Option A: Monday – Friday (Standard Weekdays)
- Option B: Monday – Thursday | 4x10s (3rd Shift)
- Option C: Friday – Sunday | 3x12s (3rd Shift)
- On-Call: Back-up call rotation only (dedicated 3rd shift team handles primary coverage; back-up called in for emergent dual-cases). Must reside within a 30-minute response time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform specialized radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures under physician direction.
- Scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile technique for complex diagnostic and interventional IR cases (stroke, trauma, line placements, vascular procedures).
- Assist with patient prep, monitoring, catheter/sheath removal, and hemostasis application.
- Record hemodynamic data, contrast usage, and inventory tracking accurately.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Radiology Interventional Program.
- Certifications: ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required; BLS (AHA or ARC) required.
- Experience: Strong preference for Interventional Radiology background; Cath Lab imaging experience strongly considered. Experience in Level 1 Trauma or Stroke Centers highly preferred.
