- Support interventional radiologists in the evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients undergoing image-guided procedures
- Conduct patient histories and physical examinations, review diagnostic imaging and laboratory results, and assist with treatment planning
- Provide pre-procedure, peri-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
- Assist with and, as credentialed and permitted, perform image-guided interventional procedures under physician collaboration and organizational protocols
- Coordinate patient education, procedural preparation, follow-up care, and communication with patients, families, referring clinicians, and care teams
- Participate in inpatient consults, rounds, and outpatient follow-up as needed
- Maintain timely, complete clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to promote safe, efficient, patient-centered care
- Master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program required
- Current or eligible Maryland physician assistant license required
- Current NCCPA certification required
- Active collaboration agreement with designated physician(s), as required for Maryland PA practice
- Interventional radiology, radiology, surgery, critical care, vascular, emergency medicine, or procedural-care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-education skills
