Interventional Radiologist

Radiology Partners Dallas is seeking a full-time or part-time Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established community-based IR practice serving the East Dallas and Rockwall County markets. This opportunity offers a unique blend of procedural IR and diagnostic radiology, allowing physicians to step away from high-end tertiary care while enjoying a flexible 3 or 4-day work week. Providers will cover two local facilities with strong APP support and minimal callback burden, all while tracking for partnership in just one year.

Practice Info

• Community-based IR practice serving the East Dallas and Rockwall County markets
• Blend of procedural IR and diagnostic radiology
• Bread-and-butter IR practice with no neuro or stroke responsibilities
• Established practice alongside an experienced IR physician
• Strong APP support and minimal callback burden
• Facilities partnered with include Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe and Dallas Regional Medical Center

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time (30+ hrs/week) or part-time
• 3 or 4 day work week
• Choose between 2 days IR + 1 day Dx or 2 days IR + 2 days Dx

Responsibilities

• Perform general procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, CT/US-guided biopsies, and drain placements
• Perform central lines, ports, permcaths/Quinton catheters, and nephrostomy tubes
• Place IVC filters and perform occasional GI bleed interventions
• Cover Baylor Scott & White Medical Center and Dallas Regional Medical Center

Compensation

• Earning Potential: $500,000 -$700,000
• Sign on Bonus
• Partnership track in just 1 year

Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology Fellowship or IR/DR pathway
• Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABR or AOBR)
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Comfortable with a broad-based community IR practice
