Interventional Radiologist

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join their well-established, collegial practice within the Department of Radiology. This position combines patient care and teaching, offering an opportunity to guide medical students and residents in a robust academic and clinical environment. Candidates will join a team of subspecialty-trained and general radiologists performing a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.

• Health sciences center home to the School of Medicine, School of Graduate Studies, and School of Allied Health Professions and a robust research enterprise
• Nearly 600 residents and fellows trained each year
• Home to the only Level I Trauma center in the surrounding region, and one of only two in the state
• Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration
• EPIC medical record platform utilized
• 5,000 studies performed annually

Responsibilities

• Combines teaching and patient care
• Performs a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures
• Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents
• Is part of an IR integrated residency, with early specialization in interventional radiology

Qualifications

• BC/BE Interventional Radiologist
• Fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology
• Assistant or Associate level position
