Interventional Radiologist

Imagen Technologies is seeking a board-certified radiologist to join a high-performing hospital setting in Ukiah, California. This unique, physician-led role features an anticipated 60/40 split between interventional and diagnostic radiology, with opportunities to expand the IR program and collaborate with APPs. • Anticipated 60/40 split between interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology
• Current case mix focuses on core interventional radiology and lower-complexity procedures
• Collaborate with physician assistants and nurse practitioners as part of an integrated IR service line
• Remote diagnostic radiology work may be available when not providing IR service coverage
• Supported by a large national team of radiologists and a 24/7 dedicated support team

Responsibilities

• Perform core IR procedures, including fluoroscopy and image-guided interventions, with opportunities to expand the scope and complexity of services
• Help design and build a robust IR service line, establishing clinical standards, optimizing workflows, and expanding procedural capabilities
• Work with physician assistants and nurse practitioners as part of an integrated IR service line
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, with potential for remote reading when not assigned to IR service
• Provide occasional cross-coverage across locations, supported by a dedicated PA/NP team

Compensation

• $550,000+ for the full-time position; part-time scaled proportionally

Shift & Schedule

• FTE flexibility is available - from 0.5 FTE up to 1.0 FTE
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, onsite 5 days / week
• 0.5 FTE options available

Qualifications

• Board-certified (ABR or ABOR) Radiologist
• Vascular and interventional radiology fellowship training preferred; general radiologists comfortable with a broad procedural mix will be considered
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in California
• Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to help shape the local imaging program
• Being under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances while on the job or while conducting business on Imagen's behalf is prohibited
